LVI: VIOLATIONS

Have you ever come across the word 'EMBEZZLEMENT'? When we EMBEZZLE, we MISAPPROPRIATE the funds entrusted to us. We entrust a person with our accounts, and, without any prick of conscience, he coolly steals the money. He MISAPPROPRIATES our funds. Remember, when we APPROPRIATE, we SNATCH, we GRAB, we TAKE FORCIBLY. When we APPROPRIATE and ATTACH, we ANNEX. Hence, ANNEX (take by force) x CEDE (surrender) APPROPRIATE x SURRENDER Misappropriation of money is technically called EMBEZZLEMENT. It is the hijacking of funds, just like hijacking of planes or persons. When we hijack a person, we KIDNAP. When we hijack QUARRY/GAME (animals), we POACH. When we hijack ideas, We PIRATE/PLAGIARIZE. When we hijack power/authority, we USURP. The following analogies involve the idea of HIJACK: HIJACK: AEROPLANE KIDNAP: PERSON PLAGIARIZE: LITERATURE POACH: GAME USURP: POWE REMBEZZLE: FUNDS An EMBEZZLER breaks our TRUST; just as a PERJURER (one who tells lies after taking an oath to tell the truth) breaks the OATH. Hence, PERJURER: OATH EMBEZZLER: TRUST PERJURY is the violation of OATH, just as consuming an OVERDOSE of medicine is the violation of the PRESCRIPTION. EMBEZZLEMENT is the violation of TRUST, just as INDISCRETION (unwise behavior) is the violation of CONVENTIONS (rules of good behavior). As we know these violations are breach of laws, either moral or legal.
